Happy Labor Day!

Happy Labor Day! We've had a wonderful weekend, with another great group. Branson is bustling with activity. Peirce Arrow, The Branson Bell and The Dixie Stampede are among the many shows that our guests took in over the past couple of days. Several played on the lake, and enjoyed hiking the trails. It feels like Fall this evening, with a nice cool breeze. It would be a perfect night for a campfire!
We had the great pleasure of having Susan Shay and her husband among our guests this weekend. She is our third published author to visit Crystal Cove. For more information on some of her work, feel free to visit www.susanshay.net. What a talent!
I just finished baking some double chocolate, pecan brownies with mocha icing.
(Now, if I can just keep Bob away from the Coffee and Sweet Shop, so there are plenty for the guests!) I will try to post the recipe sometime. They take a little extra time, but they are definitely worth it! Have a great evening....

We had a great time at Crystal Cove, Jenny. Thanks so much for making us feel at home. The food was fantastic! I think you should write a cookbook. I'll be first in line to buy it!
Come on over to http://susanshay.net or http://the-twisted-sisters.com or http://writingsluts.com sometime and say hello.
